• She's With Me - acrylic on canvas
  The cat is one of mine, Geordi, and the fairy is my little tribute to Frank Kelly Freas, one of the greatest sf/fantasy artists ever. I tried to do her in his style.

• Dr. Minotaur and the Plight of the Uutalk - acrylic on illustration board
  This was a mock book cover for a novella that I wrote with my universtiy room-mate. It's extremely long, and bizarre, and took over two years to write, and another year to edit.

• Grosbeak Wizard - acrylic on canvas board
  This is sort of a tribute to James Christenson, one of my favourite artists. The little bird on top of the wizard's staff is a Grosbeak ... and his hat is on fire because he hasn't noticed it yet :)

  My in-laws lived for a number of years in Arizona, and through them I was exposed to the traditional art of the Hopi Indians.  They have many kachinas, or spirits in their mysticism and much of their art revolves around beautiful carved figures of them.  This is my more modern take on one.  .

  One of my favourite kachinas.  Usually he's paired with another though.

  Last one.  I had originally intended to use these small paintings to do larger works.  Alas... perhaps someday I will.

  This is actually a portfolio piece for me.  I love the surreality of Alice in Wonderland, and it inspired me to try out a new style.  I have also done character studies for Alice, The Caterpillar, Cheshire Cat, Duchess, Queen of Hearts, the White Knight and of course, the White Rabbit.

• Guitarist in Love - Acrylics on illustration board.
  A different style for me, but I had the sudden vision of this piece one night and couldn't get to sleep until I drew it out.  I painted it the next day :)  
  
  
• Gromit - This piece looks better in real life because it's quite large and looks like it should be hanging over a huge mantel :)  I also did a smaller one of Wallace and signed it 'Gromit' :)  Acrylics on paper.
  
  
• Velvet Yoda - Acrylics on black velvet.
  Yes, I have lost my mind.  This picture was taken before I glued on small rhinestones to finish the piece.

  While it shares the circular format of the Owl and the Pussycat, the two images were done quite a time apart.  I don't remember which came first though.
