Mama Darling Sasha's mother, a sorceress of considerable power, matriarch of her family and highly respected within her community, Mama is a proud, take-charge, no-nonsense monster. Although she was not pleased with her daughter's decision to go to a 'Normal' university and study science, she supports Sasha, and keeps an eye on her. |

Papa Darling Sasha's father, and a powerful warlock in his own right, Papa is far more displeased with his youngest daughter's interest in and association with Normals. |

Jade Darling The eldest of the Darling children, Jade is an accomplished sorceress and scholar, and is now a professor at the Eldritch Academy. She is kind and understanding of Sasha's aspirations. |

Enigma Darling The middle Darling child, and also a powerful magician, Enigma is in the final stages of her doctorate at the Eldritch Academy. Enigma is only a year older than Sasha, and was always very close to her younger sister as they were growing up. |

Sasha Darling A different Sasha appears at home. While in St. Canard at school and work she may appear timid and quiet voiced, this is only from a lingering unease at being discovered as a Monster. At home she is confident and comfortable. We can see the strong willed and intelligent daughter who is proud of her heritage, but willing to go against her family's wishes to pursue her own dreams. |

Dante Sasha's dear friend since childhood and her devoted boyfriend for years, Dante is an honours student at the Eldritch Academy. He is only half monster, having a Normal mother, which makes him very understanding of his girlfriend's interests. |

Carlos Dante's best friend and roommate at the Academy, Carlos the bat is particularly good at alchemy, and plans to focus on life magic in his post-graduate work. He is a quiet, creative daydreamer and a loyal friend of Dante and Sasha. |

Sable Sasha's cousin, Sable is strikingly beautiful, and equally selfish and spoiled. She is always seeking Mama's favour and attention, and considers Sasha to be a rival. Sable is far less adept in magic than she would have others believe. |

Uncle Cyril Sable's father and Mama's brother, Cyril would like to think he has the same power and influence in the community as his sister has. Such a reputation could only be earned with hard work and genuine talent , though - both of which are foreign concepts to Cyril. |

Dr. Mumbai Family doctor and friend to the Darlings, Dr. Mumbai also teaches at the Eldritch Academy. |
